Shannon has a wide array of experience working within and consulting to a variety of small and not-so-small organizations and businesses. His experience spans a wide array of businesses, federal and state governmental organizations, and philanthropic organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Shannon has extensive experience in professional consulting services, and technology management including logistics management, software development, strategic business planning, and customer relationship management. He has managed budgets in excess of $5 million.

Shannon has worked with a number of multi-national companies includes Dell, Schlumberger, DuPont, General Electric, Olin Corporation, Monsanto, Microsoft, Gateway Computers, IBM, Rogers Communications, Meguiar’s, Capital One, Eastman Chemical, Discovery Communications, MCI and several other well known companies. He has had significant involvement with non-profit and philanthropic organizations including The Pew Charitable Trusts, National Endowment of the Arts, The Morino Institute and the Potomac Knowledge Way. His governmental experience includes the Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the Delaware Division of Alcoholism, Drug Abuse and Mental Heath and the US Army.

Shannon gained the bulk of this experience while working at several key positions. He is currently the director of technology within 9Ware where he manages software development and technology implementation projects for a variety of clients within the petroleum industry. At Social and Health Services, a government contractor specializing in customer relationship management, logistics and operations management within the public health sector, he served as the manager of Information Technology and Software Development. At iXL, a global technology consulting company, Shannon served as the Vice President of Technology and was responsible for client acquisition, technology strategy and the oversight of technology implementation projects. In addition he has held positions within several other organizations and businesses including The Morino Institute, Capital One and the Get Well Network.

During his career Shannon has focused on employing technologies to improve operational efficiencies, attract and retain customers, and reduce overhead. He is relied upon regarding technology decisions and software development life-cycles. Shannon combines his deep technical knowledge and extensive business experience to solve real-world problems.
